About ResumeTune

What this site is

ResumeTune (resumetune.io) is a free tool that checks how easily an applicant tracking system (ATS) can read an English or Spanish resume. You upload a PDF or DOCX, optionally paste a job description, and get a technical readability score plus keyword and format notes. No account is required.

The free check uses fixed rules on extracted text. It does not call an AI model. It does not predict interviews, offers, or hiring decisions, and it does not claim to reproduce any one vendor’s ATS.

Who operates it

ResumeTune is built and operated by the team behind resumetune.io. This page names the product, not a separate legal-entity name. For privacy or data requests, use the address on the Contact page.

Free check and paid options

The homepage upload is always free. A paid AI rewrite and downloadable CV is part of the product design but payment processing is currently unavailable, so that upgrade cannot be purchased right now.

We do not store the original file you upload. Extracted resume and job text are cleared after 24 hours on the unpaid path. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Languages and limits

Scoring supports English and Spanish resumes only. Other languages return an unsupported-language message with no score. The site UI is also English and Spanish.

If you want the technical background first, the Guides section explains parsing, keyword matching, and format without requiring an upload.

Advertising

The site may show Google AdSense ads on the home page, the free result page, and educational guide pages after you accept the cookie banner. Ads are requested as non-personalized. Trust and legal pages do not carry ad units.
