Agreement

By using ResumeTune (resumetune.io) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms are a plain-language description of how the service actually works. They are not a substitute for legal advice.

The service

The free check extracts text from a PDF or DOCX you upload, scores English or Spanish resumes with fixed ATS-oriented rules, and may compare keywords if you paste a job description. Results are tied to a browser session cookie, not to an account.

An optional paid AI rewrite and file download is described on the site but cannot be purchased while payment processing is unavailable. We may change, limit, or pause features, including rate limits, to keep the service reliable.

Acceptable use

Upload only files you have the right to submit. Do not upload malware, or use the service to attack, scrape, or overload the site. Automated bulk uploads that evade rate limits are not allowed.

Do not try to bypass session or payment checks, or treat a success page, email, or URL as authorization you do not have.

No hiring or outcome guarantee

Scores, keyword lists, and format notes are technical estimates about extracted text. They do not mean an employer will read, rank, interview, or hire you. Different companies use different ATS products. ResumeTune does not reproduce any one vendor’s ranking formula.

Your content

You keep the rights to the resume and job text you submit. We process that text to run the check, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your CV. We do not store the original uploaded file.

Our content

Guides, interface copy, and the ResumeTune name and mark are provided for use of this site. You may not copy the service or the guides and present them as your own product.

Advertising

After you accept the cookie banner, Google AdSense may show non-personalized ads on the home page, the free result page, and educational guide pages. Ads are not shown on paid result views. Trust and legal pages do not carry ad units. Advertising does not change your score.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, ResumeTune is not liable for lost applications, missed interviews, or decisions made by employers or ATS software after you use the check. If a paid feature is later offered, its then-current terms will apply to that purchase.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
